Rapper Meek Mill Released from Jail

Christmas is coming early for the Philly rapper, who is reportedly set to be released from Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility some time today. Meek was  sentenced to jail time in July for a parole violation, and despite numerous efforts from his legal team, wasn't due to be released until January 11, 2015.

MEEK MILL TEAMS WITH TIMBALAND FOR NEW ALBUM

Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Justin Timberlake have all benefitted from Timbaland’s talents, and now the super-producer is applying his platinum touch to Meek Mill’s sophomore album.

The MMG rapper was recently in the studio with Timbo, and shared a photo from their recording session on Instagram.

“#timbo said he coming wit that heat 4 for my new album,” tweeted Meek.

Both Meek and Timbaland are managed by Roc Nation. While on tour in Europe last year, Timbo previewed a collaboration with Meek, but it’s unknown where it will end up.

In addition to Timbaland, Meek has been in the studio with Diddy working on the follow-up to his debut Dreams and Nightmares.

“My next album is all that matters #specialdelivery #2014,” said Meek, who dropped his mixtape Dreamchasers 3 in September.

Dreams and Nightmares debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in November 2012 and featured appearances from Drake, Nas, Rick Ross, and Mary J. Blige.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed the Fifa Ballon d'Or, beating off competition from Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery to secure the award for a second time.

Although the 28-year-old Portuguese failed to claim a major trophy at club level, he has been crowned the world's outstanding footballer over the course of the last 12 months.
