Bend it like Romeo Beckham? It could happen.
Just a few months after David Beckham announced his retirement from the sport that made him a legend, his 11-year-old son is now getting in on the action as he's pledged to one day wear an Arsenal uniform.
"Gunna play for Arsenal one day!" Romeo wrote on his Instagram page (via The Huffington Post UK).
Tribalfootball.com actually reported that the youngster is already making headway, havingsigned with the North London club's youth academy, but E! News could not independently verify it and a search on Arsenal's website turned up no mention of the younger Beckham.

The budding Burberry model did offer confirmation of the news on his Twitter page however.
"Yes! How you guys and girls tweeted me I am Official in the Arsenal Team!!!!! WOAAAA!! I'm never going back!!" hetweeted.
While he's still too young to be join the Junior Gunners, which is the club's squad for 12 to 16-year-olds, Romeo, along with older brother Brooklyn and younger siblingCruz, did take in an Arsenal game at The Emirates last week. The Gunners beat Tottenham 1-0, but perhaps the best part for the wannabe pro-footballer, Romeo met with manager, Arsene Wenger, who gave him a shirt with his name on his back.

Sounds like a pretty good 'in' to us.
No word how psyched dad is to see Romeo become a fan of Arsenal and not his longtime team of Manchester United, though he did train with the former team briefly before hanging up the cleats.
But we're pretty sure David will be happy to see him on the pitch regardless!
