In less than a month D’Banj’s DB Records will be making their first release in what is already setting up to be one of the most anticipated albums of the year. The compilation will feature label acts Kay-Switch and J-Sol alongside a myriad of local and International superstars.

Apart from the mercurial Don Jazzy, DKM (D’ King’s Men) will host Big Sean, Snoop Lion, Fally Ipupa, Olamide, Naeto C and Ikechukwu just to name a few.

D’Banj hosted a few Industry friends at the BHM Lounge on Tuesday May 28 and gave them a private listening as to what ‘DKM’ has in store. HipTv was on hand to capture a few moments. Watch the clip below."

The maiden edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference took place yesterday at the Eko Hotel & Suites, with stars and major players in the entertainment industry turning up for the event.

A lot of people were honored, including ex-Mo’ Hits artiste D’banj & super-producer Don Jazzy.

Bankuli, D’banj Split Over Kanye West. Floats Bankuli Entertainment

Seun Bankuli is no longer D’Banj’s manager. The pair got into a heated argument after D’Banj found out that Bankuli went to Paris after the Koko concert to work on Kanye West’s next album without him knowing.

Bankuli left for Paris after the Koko concert in December and his employer/artiste wasn’t aware of his clandestine trip to Paris to drop adlibs on Kanye’s next LP. When D’Banj found out, an argument ensued and went physical according to our source.
