Since the release of his 2012 debut Pluto, Future has become one of hip-hop’s brightest new stars, penning hits for everyone from Lil Wayne to Ciara. And the in-demand rapper shows no signs of stopping with “Honest,” the first single and title track off his upcoming sophomore album
“I’m a rock star for life/ I’m just being honest,” he raps on the truthful track, produced by Metro Boomin (Lil Wayne, Ludacris) and DJ Spinz (Ca$h Out, Waka Flocka Flame).
“It’s like a club uptempo record,” Future told Rap-Up TV. “Now’s my turn to give them something from me without the features. It’s me by myself.”
Honest, previously titled Future Hendrix, is due November 26. He will hit the road with Drake and Miguel on the “Would You Like a Tour?” arena trek starting September 25.
