Chief Keef Rumored to be Engaged

Chief Keef isn't even a legal adult, but he's ready to make a very grown up move. Word has it that Keef is engaged to video model Jamesha "Pretty Mesha" Thompson.

The 17-year-old pretty much verified the news by retweeting gossip site MediaTakeOut's story about the engagement. Mesha — who is five years Keef's senior — did her part by Instagramming a photo of a rock on her partially-tatted ring finger and tweeting confirmation of the new relationship. "Yes me and @ChiefKeef are together," she wrote.

Further showing off their budding romance, the twosome exchanged tons of social media affection, including Mesha posting "I love SOSA" Monday (May 13) night.

However, the engagement rumors could just be a way to drum up publicity, which Mesha might need, but Keef definitely doesn't. News of his legal battles, controversial lyrics and gang affiliation has flooded the media circuit for months now, resulting in him briefly going silent on Twitter.



In March, the Chicago native was released from jail following a 60-day sentence for violating his parole. Now that he's free, Keef has more than made up for lost time, working with Kanye West in Paris, joining Gucci Mane's Brick Squad crew and picking up this new relationship along the way.

He also got a ruling on his child support drama because, aside from his current girl, there's another lady in Keef's life: his 15-year-old baby's mother. A judge recently ordered the "I Don't Like" rapper to shell out $10,400 to bring his child support debt current. He must also part with $2,600 of his $13,000 monthly salary for regular payments, plus an extra $500 per month to cover daycare expenses for their young daughter.
