Harry Redknapp regrets not signing the Nigerian Striker Peter Odemwingie during the January transfer window

The QPR manager believes that things would have been different if he had signed the Nigerian striker in January
Queen Park Rangers are almost consigned to relegation to the Championship but Harry Redknapp believes things could have been different if he had signed Peter Odemwingie last January.
"I would not have changed an awful lot, really," Redknapp told the Daily Mail.

"I'd have probably tried harder to get [Odemwingie] from West Brom.
"He might have really given us something up there with Bobby Zamora not being 100 per cent fit. He might have scored four or five goals that make the difference.
Odemwingie was fined for going AWOL to QPR on January transfer deadline day and is almost certain to leave the Baggies in the summer.
"He did no different to what about 50 other footballers did on the same day.
"He made one big mistake. He was too honest, he turned up at the football club, and he was silly," Redknapp added.
Odemwingie has scored five goals in 22 league games this season but ended the last two seasons as his team’s top marks man.
He finished the 2010/11 season with 15 goals and scored 10 goals last season.
