On a half hour special on MTV, Sway and President Barack Obama sat down at the White House and answered questions from young voters. During the "Ask Obama Live: An MTV Interview with the President," Sway asked questions about jobs, social issues, the cost of college, LGBTQ rights -- and of course, music.
"We haven't seen as much directly political music." The President told Sway. "I think the most vibrant musical genre over the last 10 to 15 years has been hip-hop"
When Obama admitted to being too busy to update his ipod, Sway responded with, "I'll hook you up."
Watch below as our President also speaks on global warming -- an issue that was missing from all three presidential debates. Anderson Cooper will also be playing the interview tonight on CNN 360 at 8pm ET
