Beyonce To Perform At Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show. Guests Could Include Jay-Z & Destiny's Child



The NFL has tapped Beyonce to perform at the Pepsi NFL Halftime Show for Super Bowl XLVII, which will be held on February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans according to the Associated Press.


Already one of the most viewed events on television, the 2013 Super Bowl is bound to attract even more casual viewers who will tune to watch Beyonce's performance.

The singer has a huge catalog of hits including "Crazy in Love," "Baby Boy," "Beautiful Liar," "Halo," "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" "If I Were a Boy" and many more.


2012's Super Bowl which featured Madonna as the halftime performer set a U.S. record with 111.3 million viewers who watched the New York Giants defeat the New England Patriots by a score of 21-17.

The AP reports that Beyonce's performance could include guests like her formerDestiny's Child group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams as well as her husband, Jay-Z.

The formal announcement is expected to be made on Wednesday.
